SYMPOSIUM: CONTEMPLATIVE PRACTICE ACROSS TRADITIONS
A panel discussion exploring the transformative power of contemplative practice for living a peaceful and meaningful life amidst a world of conflict and violence, and finding resources for addressing the critical issues of our twenty-first century global society.
Panelists representing Buddhist, Christian, and non-religious traditions of contemplative practice will engage with the audience on various aspects of the theme, and share stories from their own life journey and personal reflections.
When: Saturday, October 21, 2017, 3 pm- 5 pm, followed by light refreshments from 5-6 pm.
