Day of Zen & Sesshin, March 21, Saturday (6:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.)


Day of Zen & Sesshin will be held in Room 202 at the White Rock United Methodist Church, 1450 Old Gate Lane, Dallas TX 75218.  Entrance will be on Diceman Drive, building marked Fellowship Hall. Please register for Day of Zen and/or Sesshin by sending email to or call 214-388-1122.  Please indicate the times that you will be staying and whether you will be eating lunch and/or dinner. Do try to bring a dish to share with the sangha.


6:30-8:00       Zen meditation
8:00-9:00       Breakfast, chores, (Registration)
9:00 – 9:30     Zen Meditation
9:30 – 10:00    Zen talk (Ruben)
10:00-12:30     Zen meditation (Dokusan or Private interview)
12:30- 1:00     Lunch (in silence)
1:00-2:00       Break
2:00-2:30       Tea Ceremony
2:30 – 4:00     Zen meditation
4:00 – 4:30     Individual walk
4:30-6:00       Zen meditation, dokusan
6:00 Dinner     Dinner

7:00 -8:30      Zen meditation, closing ceremony

Suggested donation:  $25 plus for Day of Zen, $50 for sesshin plus dana (cash) for the teacher
